The Center for School, Health and Education at APHA is providing capacity building and technical assistance designed for school-based health care leaders and their school partners to increase health and graduation outcomes for high risk and vulnerable children and adolescents. These components comprise a program to integrate essential public health principles, strategies and policies in the clinic and throughout the school to address the most prevalent, educationally relevant health disparities facing students in a given school. Formerly two separate programs, this enhanced program merges evidence-based capacity building assistance with practice-enhancing technical assistance. Activities for the next cohort will commence in early 2016. Join this informational webinar to learn more about the program.
