Membership
APHA membership is the best way to prepare students for the ever-evolving world of public health and support them in lifelong learning. For schools and programs of public health that would like their students engaged in public health during their studies, we now offer discounted rates for you to sign up your students as APHA members.
Have questions or want to learn more about how this fits in with the goals of your school or program of public health? Please contact Marsha Brome-Wimberly via email or call 202-777-2426.
Here’s how it works:
Payment option 1: An eligible school or program can purchase APHA memberships for students at the low price of $57 per student, which represents a 33% discount from our typical student membership rate.
Payment option 2: An eligible school or program can purchase APHA memberships based on the average number of students reflected in the sliding scale on detailed in the FAQs. These prices are also based on the discounted rate of $57 per students.
Note: Both options include a complimentary APHA membership for one faculty member for every 100 students paid.
Being an APHA member gives students the chance to meet fellow public health students from around the nation and world via APHA’s Student Assembly, the nation’s largest student-led organization dedicated to serving public health students. Membership provides the opportunity to connect with leaders in the field and develop leadership skills of their own. And importantly, APHA membership gives students a voice in shaping the future of our field.
